For productions that need something real: no make-up, no CGI, no rented animal. A pack we trained ourselves — and that only goes on set with us.
What you book: trained Czechoslovakian Wolfdogs from our FCI/ÖKV kennel, accompanied by their own handlers — for feature film, series, documentary, commercials and music video. How it starts: with a scene consultation before the locations are locked. We say which takes are realistic in one shooting day and which are not. What is in the quote: usage rights itemised by territory, duration, medium and buyout — not as a lump sum in the small print. What we do not shoot: scenes in which an animal is meant to suffer, chase or serve as a weapon. That refusal comes at the briefing, not on the shooting day.

Why a real animal in the frame
Our wolfdogs bring an innate talent for the camera: a gripping gaze, calm movement, the wild spirit an audience expects — without anyone having to fix that gaze in post afterwards.
We work exclusively with animals we know down to the detail. The contexts we can document are National Geographic, ARTE and ORF Universum as well as several music video productions. Beyond that we have worked for studios whose series and films ran on Netflix, HBO and Amazon .
From the first storyboard to the last take we think along: which shot puts strain on the animal, where a cut saves CGI, and where a real body in the frame is irreplaceable.
What we need from you on set
A quiet zone out of sight of the crew, water, shade or protection from frost depending on the weather — and a contact person who is not operating the camera at the same time.
An animal that stays calm because it can see its person does not need twenty takes. Anyone who has ever lost a shooting day because an animal would not play along knows what that difference is worth.

What do you need from the production before the shoot?
Storyboard or scene list, location, planned takes, approximate waiting times and whether extras, vehicles, fog or loudspeakers are involved.
Can the animals work with actors?
Yes, if the contact is planned and kept short. Prolonged closeness, food in the frame or unsupervised touching we decline.
Have you worked on productions for Netflix, HBO or Amazon?
We have worked for studios whose series and films ran on Netflix, HBO and Amazon. Which titles those are we clarify in conversation — production contracts are rarely public.
How are usage rights billed?
Itemised by territory, duration, medium and buyout. A shooting day does not buy the footage forever and everywhere — that is in the quote before the camera rolls.
